The journey passes through local communities, cultivated farmland and open countryside, with possible views of Mount Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru when weather conditions are clear. After reaching Arusha, you will check into your included budget hotel, freshen up and relax after your flight. Dinner will be served at the hotel according to your arrival time. Later, your safari guide will provide a short briefing covering the following morning’s departure, expected road conditions, park regulations, meals, weather and essential items to carry. You can also discuss your wildlife and photography interests with the guide before the safari begins.

The route passes through rural settlements, farmland and Maasai countryside before reaching the park entrance. Once the entry procedures are completed, raise the Land Cruiser’s pop-up roof and begin your full-day game drive. Tarangire is characterized by ancient baobab trees, acacia woodland, seasonal wetlands, open grasslands and the Tarangire River. You may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs and different bird species. Lions and leopards also inhabit the park, although predator sightings are never guaranteed. Around midday, stop at a designated picnic area for lunch before continuing with the afternoon game drive.
