Frequently Asked Questions Related To 2 Days Big-five Safari

1. Is this package a two-day or three-day safari? +
The package covers three calendar days because the arrival day is included as Day 0. Day 0 provides airport collection, transfer to Arusha, dinner and pre-safari budget accommodation. Days 1 and 2 are the main wildlife-viewing days in Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks.
2. What budget accommodation is included in the package? +
The package includes a pre-safari budget hotel in Arusha on the arrival day and a post-safari budget hotel after returning from Lake Manyara. These hotels provide a comfortable place to rest before and after the wildlife programme. Exact properties depend on availability and will be confirmed during booking.
3. Why is the safari accommodation excluded? +
The safari accommodation between Tarangire and Lake Manyara is excluded so that guests can select a property matching their preferred budget and comfort level. You may choose a basic guesthouse, budget lodge, campsite or affordable tented camp. We can recommend and book the most suitable option for an additional cost.
4. Can you arrange the excluded safari accommodation? +
Yes. We can arrange the safari accommodation according to your travel dates, number of travellers, room requirements and preferred location. The cost will be presented separately so that you clearly understand the safari price and the accommodation price.
5. Will we see all of the Big Five during this safari? +
The itinerary offers opportunities to search for elephants, buffaloes, lions and leopards, but sightings depend on animal movement, weather and seasonal conditions. Rhinos are not commonly seen in Tarangire or Lake Manyara. For stronger Big Five opportunities, Ngorongoro Crater can be added as an extra safari day.
6. Is this safari completely private? +
Yes. The vehicle and professional guide are reserved for your confirmed booking. This gives you more space, flexible photography stops and greater control over the pace of the game drives than a standard group-joining safari.
7. What meals are included? +
Dinner is provided on the arrival day, while breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner are included on Day 1. Day 2 includes breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner at the post-safari hotel. Dietary requirements should be communicated before arrival so suitable meals can be prepared.
8. Is this safari suitable for children? +
Yes. Families can travel comfortably because the vehicle is private and rest stops can be adjusted when necessary. Parents should supervise children throughout the trip and ensure they follow the guide’s safety instructions inside the national parks.
9. What should I pack for this budget safari? +
Bring comfortable neutral-coloured clothing, closed shoes, a light jacket, sun hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and personal medication. A camera, binoculars, charging equipment and spare batteries are also recommended for wildlife viewing and photography.
10. Where does the safari begin and end? +
The package begins at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will meet our representative. It normally ends with a post-safari hotel stay in Arusha and an airport drop-off according to your confirmed flight schedule. Alternative drop-off locations in Arusha can also be discussed during booking.
